Blog 5: CHANGES TO MY STUDY PROGRAMME

 Hello everyone, I am a second year dental student at the University of Chile, it is a fairly small school but academically it is considered the best in the country. Although the education and training provided to future professionals is good, it could certainly improve many aspects. I think one of the main problems of this career is its cost, since it involves the purchase of many materials and also the procurement of patients for the treatments we must perform, I think it is very unfair that if a patient does not come to the clinic we have to pay the consequences by failing the course, this must be changed urgently. Also the academic load is very heavy, especially in the last weeks of the semester, where there are too many evaluations, homework and assignments. On the other hand, if we talk about the infrastructure of the faculty, there are only two large classrooms for classes (considering that we are approximately 120 students per generation), and the dining room is very small,...

Blog 4: TIME TRAVEL TO THE PAST

 Hello everyone, in this blog I would like to tell you what I would do if I could travel back in time, which is certainly an impossible dream, at least not yet. If at some point some magnificent mind created a time machine, I would love to have the age, energy and sanity to be able to go to the 20's' but in European places because I loved the fashion of the time, everything that included glitter, pearls and sequins and the brands that were starting to emerge like coco Chanel. I would invite my mother and grandmother, as they are both big fans of the Charleston, which is a dance named after the port city of Charleston, as it was popularized by a 1923 tune called The Charleston. I think one of the first things I would do if I could travel to that era would be to visit the fashion stores and try on lots of dresses, I would also love to be able to go to the famous parties that were held in those years. Blog lll: MY FAVOURITE CARTOON

  My favorite cartoon is one that no doubt many know for its great trajectory and versions over the years, Scooby Dooby Doo! Scooby-doo! It is an American animated series created in 1969 and currently on the air, about a talking Great Dane dog named Scooby-Doo and four teenagers named Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Vilma Dinkley and Shaggy Rogers, who travel around the world in a van called "The Mystery Machine" in which they are transported from one place to another solving mysteries related to ghosts and other supernatural forces. I loved watching this series because I had fun trying to guess who was the villain in each chapter, I remember watching it almost every morning before going to school, my favorite characters were Daphne and Vilma but I also laughed a lot with the adventures of Shaggy and Scooby.   Nowadays I don't watch it as often since I haven't found a channel that broadcasts it. Blog II: The best holidays ever

  My best vacation was when I traveled to the south of Chile in April 2019, specifically to the city of Puerto Varas and its surroundings in the Los Lagos region. I was there for a week as it was a study trip with classmates from my school and teachers. We visited many beautiful places, but without a doubt, one of the places that I liked the most was Peulla, a small town that we reached by catamaran after crossing the “Todos los Santos” lake, it has a very small population, a large number of animals and a lot of native nature which makes it an excellent place to relax. We also went to Chiloé, where we learned about the myths and legends of the place thanks to a guide who told us about it and we tried the "milcao" which is a very typical food of the place, we also did canopy here which was a very fun experience. Blog I: A country I would like to visit

 I think that one of the countries that I most want to know is France, specifically the city of Paris. Its language, French, is one of the most popular languages in the world due to its particular sounds, and its typical gastronomy is characterized by being made up of sweet things such as macaroni. If I had to take a trip to France, one of the first things I would do would be to see the Eiffel Tower, in addition to visiting Disneyland Paris, the Louvre Museum and Notre Dame Cathedral, the latter of which catches my attention because of its history , context and its architecture. Without a doubt, if I had the opportunity to do a postgraduate degree in any country in the world, I would choose France, specifically the University of Paris, since it specializes in science-oriented research and, on the other hand, I would also like to live there already that the architecture of the houses is very beautiful for being old houses and the people are very friendly.
